Five years ago, God used a small team to plant South CLT Pres in Ballantyne with a vision to make followers of Christ who honor him above all, love people well, and impact the community and the world with the gospel. Little did we know how God would help us to survive through a pandemic and even thrive as a church. The South CLT Pres family is now poised to abound in spiritual maturity, grow the church, and reach our neighborhoods with the gospel.

Our facility needs are rising quickly. The obstacles to ministry development are apparent and felt. Our growing church requires room to expand its gospel reach and discipleship. We have an opportunity to position ourselves to disciple a new generation. Now is the time to secure a space that enables our current and future ministries to abound in every good work and to bless our neighbors in South Charlotte and beyond.

We are asking everyone at South CLT Pres to pray, engage, and give in fresh ways for the next two years. As you consider your part in the Abound Initiative, ask yourself:

• If someone were to look at how I use my time, my energy, and my resources, what would they learn about my priorities?

• Am I engaged in the lives of my neighbors in a way that looks like every other person or are those interactions being conformed to the gospel?

• How might my financial commitment affect my heart and the lives of others?

Putting down roots in a stable location

is essential to reach South CLT and our South Carolina neighbors.

⇢ Develop specialized spaces for children's ministry, youth, and discipleship

⇢ Cultivate a common place for gatherings and outreach

The Abound Initiative will expand and deepen learning environments for believers to follow Christ in all areas of their lives.

⇢ Grow life-on-life discipleship, children's, youth, and care ministries

⇢ Mobilize members to use their spiritual gifts to serve the church

⇢ Identify, develop, and equip new volunteer leaders, interns, and officers

Our neighborhoods are increasingly unchurched and Jesus calls us to be generous with the gospel.

⇢ Support new regional church plants and new international church planting partnerships

⇢ Plant our own daughter church within the next five years

⇢ Start new service missions, sports outreaches, and marketplace initiatives to the Charlotte metro area
