Need Help?

Everyone needs a helping hand occasionally. We want to help you in your time of need!

Please read our mission and our guidelines before contacting us so that we can best serve you.

THE MISSION OF THE CARE MINISTRY

Care is part of South CLT Pres’s mission to make followers of Christ through honoring him, loving people, and impacting the community. We seek to do this by caring for the church body and also by reaching those outside of our church body.

Care includes expressions of compassion for those in need of physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and mental help. These may include, but are not limited to, counseling, emergencies, addictions, health issues, and financial problems.

We are not able to help with Christmas gifts.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith (Galatians 6:10).

Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:34–36).

WHO CAN WE HELP?

1. Members of our church body

2. Those local to our church geographically: Our target area is Ballantyne. However, we are currently meeting on the north end of Rea Road, so we are also able to help those in the general southeast Charlotte area.

3. Those who are in immediate physical danger, especially women and children who are in our area of the city

WHAT KIND OF HELP DO WE OFFER?

Care will involve relationships with each person receiving care as well as help with spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical needs via coaching and other acts of service. South CLT Pres’s goal in caring for others is to walk alongside people to empower them to improve their situations and restore their relationships with God, themselves, and others.

We invite you to fellowship with us!

We are not able to help with Thanksgiving baskets or Christmas.
